Welcome to Cobra Convergence IV! This is the first post you should read when you join the event!
You have found the page where you can sign up for this year’s event! You should find all the information you need here. You can also ask questions and get answers here.
There is one important piece of information we need from you, and another optional point.
1.) What date in August will you publish your Cobra-related content? On the post below this one you will find a calendar for the month of August. Please reply with the open date you want and I will add it to the calendar. I'll allocate dates on a first-come, first-served basis.
2.) (Optional) What is the subject matter of your content? You may not have this figure out yet, which is fine. This is not for the purpose of approving the subject. The only reason we ask is because other creators may want to avoid duplicating the same topic. Even though a lot of participants are reviewers, you do not have to do a review. Your content can be anything Cobra-related.
All participants are encouraged to work together and do cross-overs. You can use this message board to coordinate collaborations. The event will cover the entire month of Aufust. Even though each participant will have a day to shine, all are encouraged to stay active for the entire month, support your fellow CCV participants, and work together.
Even though August is a few months away, I would recommend starting on your contribution as early as possible.
Branding will be made available to all participants. Updates on branding and schedule will be posted here so CHECK THE MESSAGE BOARD OFTEN! Also join the Facebook page for easier communication: www.facebook.com/groups/cccollab/
A promotional launch video will be created announcing all the participants. It will be made public in late July. To create the video, I will need to pull images, logos and clips from your videos, websites, blogs and podcasts. By agreeing to participate, you give permission to use that material for promotional purposes. You still own your work. Nothing you do with Cobra Convergence gives ownership of your work for anyone else.
Thank you for participating in Cobra Convergence this year!
